F-Δ Response for High-Strength Steel Bolts
Lengths in mm, E/fy /fu in MPa. fy and fu are set from the grade and bound used for each curve — unlocking "manual" lets you edit them, but the response curves always use the grade's own values, so an edited number is overwritten as soon as anything else changes.
× About: High-strength bolt model What this tool does Predicts the trilinear tensile force–deformation (F-Δ) response of high-strength steel bolts from the bolt size, thread type, grip length, number of washers and nuts, and material grade, considering uncertainty in the response (Ding and Elkady, 2025). You can save each plot as PNG or SVG and the curve data as CSV.
